Caroline Kealey to Speak at National Communicators Conference

Caroline Kealey will be featured as a presenter at the Government of Canada's National Communicators Conference in April 2008.
Caroline will be presenting a session on "Measuring the Payoff from Communications: How to Demonstrate Value and Enhance Your Credibility" in English and French. Over 500 public sector communicators are expected at the event.
In addition, Caroline will be facilitating a major session on Branding hosted by Canada's pre-eminent social media and marketing expert, Mitch Joel, President of Twist Image.
We are pleased to welcome Denyse Trask as the firm's Office Manager.
Denyse is a seasoned office administrator with over 12 years experience supporting senior business leaders in the private sector.
Prior to joining the team, Denyse worked at OCRI's Entrepreneurship Centre as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, where she supported administrative and project initiatives that advanced the Centre's strategic objectives. She holds a Business Computer Applications diploma from Mican Business College and a diploma in Business Administration from Newfoundland Secretarial Academy.
Ingenium Principal Appointed to Entrepreneurship Centre Advisory Committee

Caroline Kealey has been invited to join the Advisory Committee of the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI) Entrepreneurship Centre as a strategic member-at-large.
The Committee is designed to provide tactical feedback, guidance and assistance to aid in the development and attainment of the strategic priorities and goals of the Entrepreneurship Centre, while providing valuable linkages to the business community.
Ms. Kealey stated: "I am thrilled to have been asked to come on board the EC Advisory Committee and look forward to contributing to this worthwhile effort".
Established in 1992, the Entrepreneurship Centre provides a one-stop source of business information, training and resources for business start-ups and existing businesses.
Caroline Kealey to Present Ingenium's 5-Step Guide to Issues Management
Ms. Kealey will present Ingenium's 5-Step Guide to Issues Management, a practical methodology for issue identification, analysis and action plan development. The focus is on leveraging issues management as a leadership opportunity for communicators.
Caroline Kealey Publishes International Article on Social Media and Web 2.0

Ingenium's Principal and Founder, Caroline Kealey was invited to contribute
an article to the global publication Communications World Bulletin,
published by the International Association of Business Communicators.
Web 2.0: The Medium is the Message ... But What's the Result? builds on Ingenium's background in measurement and evaluation to explore practical means for communicators to apply and capture value through social media applications such as blogs, Facebook and wikis.
Ms. Kealey stated: "I was honoured to be approached by IABC's San Francisco
headquarters to submit this piece. The whole area of social media is so
exciting for communicators, and yet presents enormous challenges.
Basically, our audiences have taken over control of the most powerful
communication tool we have -- the Internet. It's up to us as communicators
to harness the power of the technology and adapt -- by finding new ways of
communicating, connecting and collaborating."
Ingenium is doing extensive work in the area of social media, working with
clients to integrate Web 2.0 in their communication and engagement
strategies.
Ingenium Wins Prestigious Health Care Public Relations Award

Ingenium Communications and its design partner Alphabet Creative have won the Health Care Public Relations Association's (HCPRA) Hygeia Award for their work with the Royal Ottawa Hospital Foundation on the Open Minds, Open Doors campaign.
The firms placed first in two categories: Special Purpose Communication - Fundraising (recognizing excellence in exhibiting a creative solution to a communication opportunity for fundraising) and Strategic Communications (recognizing excellence in a complete communications program designed to inform, educate or persuade specific audience(s) about a specific issue).
The Awards are based on excellence in communications and a demonstrated impact in delivering measurable results.

Ingenium Awarded Strategic Communications Contract on Core Competencies

Ingenium Communications, in partnership with The Alder Group has been selected to develop a Communications Strategy on Core Competencies for the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI) headquartered in White Rock, British Columbia.
The firm placed first in a national competitive process based on Ingenium's strengths in strategy design and TAG's expertise in public health and core competencies.
"We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to collaborate with CIPHI on this most significant project" states Caroline Kealey, Principal and Founder of Ingenium.
The CIPHI Communication Strategy is significant in its scope. The project includes extensive research on core competency best practices, key informant interviews, international benchmarking, and a facilitated Workshop to take place at CIPHI's Annual Conference in Kelowna.
Ingenium is using its proprietary Results MapTM methodology to guide the project toward high-impact, measureable results.
Caroline Kealey to Deliver Government Communication Courses in French

Ingenium Communications has placed first in the Canada School of Public Service's RFP for adapting and/or delivering government communication courses in French.
The contract covers a 10-month period and includes the delivery of seven distinct courses in communications and evaluation in French.
This contract builds on Caroline's past experience in training with the Canada School dating back to 2004.
Ingenium to Develop Major Communications Strategy on Public Service Renewal

The Public Service Human Resource Management Agency of Canada (PSHRMAC) has hired Ingenium Communications to develop a Communications Strategy in support of Public Service Renewal.
Ingenium is pleased to collaborate with PSHRMAC on this significant project, building on our successful projects delivered for the Agency in the areas of Employment Equity and the Required Learning Policy.
Ingenium to Develop Internal Communications Training Program for Correctional Service Canada

Ingenium Communications has been contracted to develop and deliver a training program on internal communications for Correctional Service Canada (CSC).
The program will draw on Ingenium's extensive experience in internal communications and organizational development. It includes extensive customization in order to help CSC drive organizational performance through enhanced internal communication integrated in management practices at both the Headquarters and field levels.
