Ingenium Communications has been retained by the Privy Council Office to develop a core messaging piece on Canadian Federalism.

Ingenium Engaged in Key Governance Projects

Ingenium Communications is collaborating with Elections Canada and Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) on two important governance projects.
The firm has been asked to develop a Discussion Paper on Information Technology (IT) Governance for Elections Canada that will present best practices from the public and private sectors.
For WD, Ingenium is designing a Web Governance Framework and Operational Plan that will ensure the effective and efficient management of the Department's Web assets.

Caroline Robertson to Address National Conference

Registration Authority (CIRA), a non-profit corporation responsible for operating the dot-ca
Internet domain as a key public resource for all Canadians, on an exciting new project. The
firm will be collaborating with CIRA on the development of a comprehensive Web Strategy
designed to function as a "road-map" guiding the Authority's Web planning activities. The
Strategy will build on Ingenium's Web Strategy Guide published by the International Association
of Business Communicators (IABC).

responsible for operating the dot-ca Internet domain as a key public resource for all Canadians.
The firm placed first in a national competitive process that capitalized on its strengths in
Communications and Web strategy design.

building capacity in order to meet the growing demand in client requirements.
The firm has secured a new office space in Ottawa's centrally located Wellington Village area.

In addition, we are pleased to welcome Beverly Doraty as the firm's Project Manager.
Beverly is a creative, results-oriented contributor who brings over 10 years experience in both
government and private sector in the areas of marketing coordination and project management.
Prior to joining the firm, Beverly served as Marketing Coordinator for the U.S. Division of
Morrison Lamothe Inc., where she coordinated key marketing initiatives integral to successfully
exporting innovative frozen food products to the U.S. market. She holds a B.A. from Carleton
University.
In addition, the firm is re-branding to Ingenium Communications in order to reflect its new

The International Association of Business Communicators has recently
published a Web Strategy guide written by Caroline Robertson. The San
Francisco-based organization invited Ms. Robertson to prepare a
specialized guide for professional communicators around the world in
order to help direct Web efforts toward maximum results from a
marketing, communications, and corporate perspective.
Ms. Robertson stated: "I was honoured to be invited by IABC to develop
the Web Strategy guide. The Web is the next biggest challenge for
communicators -- there is a real gap in the literature in terms of

Fall Professional Development Session - Canadian Public Relations Society

Caroline Robertson was invited to deliver the Fall Professional Development Seminar for the
Canadian Public Relations Society (Ottawa Chapter). The session was entitled Route to Success:
Measuring the Value of Strategic Communications and featured the launch of an innovative
new tool called the Results Map.
The organizers of the event reported that Caroline's session was the first to be over-sold by the
Canadian Public Relations Society in two years. The seminar struck a chord with communicators who
were eager to find new practical, meaningful approaches to communication evaluation.
Caroline Robertson to Present to the Canadian Institute

Caroline Robertson has been invited to participate in the Canadian
Institute's National Government Communications Summit. The Conference
will take place in Ottawa on December 2, 2004.
The topic of the presentation will be "Measuring the Value of Strategic
Communications: Doing the Right Things and Doing Them Right". The
interactive session will cover the development of a scalable Evaluation
Framework that can be applied across communications deliverables,
examining the link between strategy and evaluation, and gaining exposure
to a practical Logic Model tailored to the communications discipline.
